Free Blogging Traffic Exchange - Update

Published by kyellis at 11:15 am under News Edit This

Last month I was determined to find out how other bloggers were able to obtain hundreds, sometimes thousands of unique visits a day. I found a list of “most popular words” on search engines and tried using them in a blog just to see what kind of results I got. I had some success, but not even close to what I was looking for.

Next I read about free traffic exchange sites and tried a couple of them, Click Voyager and Traffic Swarm. Although in Click Voyager I never seemed to get all of the hit’s to my blog that I had earned, it seemed to be 65% to 75%. With Traffic Swarm, even though I’d built up plenty of credits, didn’t seem to give me more than a few hits to my site each day. Lastly, I was concerned because all the sites I visited were commercial, not blogs, and these aren’t unique visits as I thought they would be when I first signed on. This was web site traffic, but not blogging traffic. Final decision, using these sites was not helping me ultimately to reach my goal.

Yesterday I found a new traffic exchange site that is just for bloggers. So far I am pleased with how it works. It’s called Blog Soldier. I am not even close to being an expert on the site yet, but this is what I have found so far. After signing on you have to give 50 unique hits to other member blogs. And yes, they are all blogs. I’m thinking - yes this is what I was looking for. You get to read other people’s blogs just like yours and comment. At the same time you are racking up credits that will allow other bloggers to view your site, giving you unique visits.

I have found a couple of other blogger traffic exchange sites that I’ll be investigating and reporting on after I’m convinced Blog Soldier is going to give a fair amount of traffic to my blog. I will be reporting more on Blog Soldier and these other sites in the future. In the mean time if any of you would like to try this current traffic site, please leave messages on your findings.
