Comfort Dump Cake

Ingredients

1 - 21 oz can blueberry pie filling
1 - 15 oz can pineapple, crushed
1 - 18 oz yellow cake mix
8 oz pecans, chopped
½ cup butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray with oil a 9X13 inch pan. Pour the blueberry pie filling and crushed pineapple into the baking pan. Sprinkle cake mix over the top of the fruit. Stir just until mixed. Pour nuts evenly over the top and then drizzle with melted butter.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top or at room temperature with whipped cream or non-dairy topping.

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Variations:
* Use Cherry pie filling instead of blueberry
* For Black Forest Dump Cake use: chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling and walnuts.
* Use apple pie filling with spice cake mix, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
* For Double Chocolate Dump Cake: prepare instant chocolate pudding as directed, mix in chocolate cake mix. Pour in to baking pan, sprinkle with chocolate chips and walnuts.
*For Peach Dump Cobbler: 1 can 2 large cans peaches in heavy syrup with yellow cake mix. Drain peaches keeping syrup. Mix syrup with cake mix and pour on bottom of baking pan, peaches on top.
