Bananaberry Boost (Smoothie)
The Bananaberry Boost Smoothie goes great with banana nut muffins. Tip: when you mix up your muffins add ½ cup of chopped strawberries for an extra treat.
Ingredients
1 banana, sliced
½ cup fresh strawberries
½ cup plain yogurt
¾ cup strawberry yogurt
Directions
Pour all ingredients into the blender and process until smooth.
Pour into chilled glasses.
Garnish with sliced strawberries.
For a great variation exchange the strawberries for pineapple and use pineapple or vanilla yogurt in place of the strawberry yogurt. Use a wedge of pineapple for the garnish.
For an afternoon snack serve the Banaaberry Boost with Cinnamon Chips.
Cut a package of 10” flour tortillas in quarters and then cut the quarters in half again. Lay them out on a cookie sheet and spray with a spray oil, turn them over and spray again. Sprinkle the wedges with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until golden brown.
