The Strawberry Blondie (Smoothie)
I challenge anyone to put this smooth delicious smoothie up against any milk shake and not have it come out on top.
Ingredients
2 ½ cups whole milk
¼ cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoon raw honey
1 banana, sliced
1 peach/nectarine peeled and chopped
6 strawberries, hulled
Directions
Place all ingredients into blender.
Blend until frothy
Pour into chilled glasses and serve. Serves 4
Serve the Strawberry Blondie for breakfast with this simple granola or sprinkle some on top of the drink as a garnish.
Combine the following for Cinchy Grinchy Granola:
2 cups rolled oats, ½ cup pecans, ½ cup walnuts, mix. In a separate bowl combine ¼ cup honey, ½ cup butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, mix. Combine the two bowls and mix well.
Spread onto a an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 10 minutes.
This granola is great while it’s still warm, but be sure to cool it completely before storing.
