Tahitian Crush (Smoothie)
The next time you are hosting a brunch or even an summer evening barbeque, try this refreshing and cool smoothie instead of plain orange juice, punch or lemon aid.
Ingredients
½ cup pineapple juice
4 tablespoons orange juice
1 cup honeydew melon, cut into chunks
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 banana
4 ice cubes
Directions
Pour the pineapple and orange juice into the blender and mix gently.
Slice banana into blender. Add the melon, pineapple chunks and ice cubes. Blend until smooth.
Pour the Tahitian Crush into chilled glasses. Garnish with half an orange slice and serve.
Serves 4. Double or triple to serve larger groups.
To give your meal an added delight, purchase wooden skewers. Slice and/or chop fresh fruits such as melon, pineapple and strawberries and place them on the skewers alternately. Your guests will be impressed.
